Pre-Requisites

Non-Professional use – this masterclass may be studied by anyone.

Professional use – the Certificate of Completion awarded at the end of class is recognised by insurance companies as a CPD add-on to your existing skills and qualifications.

Accreditation

This training is registered with Yoga Alliance as Continuing Education (CE) and accredited with The CNMA (Complementary & Natural Medicine Association) and SHAI (Sound Healing Association of Ireland) and also recognised by many other professional associations as CPD (Continued professional development).

For qualified mind body & holistic professionals, this training also includes 1 year Practitioner Registration with The CNMA and you are eligible to join SHAI (Sound Healing Association of Ireland) as a Professional Member.

Pathways to Further Study

This 1-day module is Level 1 of our Sacred Sound Master Facilitator’s Diploma, for sound healing in groups and is also Level 1 of our Nada Yoga Nidra Teacher’s Diploma.

On completion of this 1-day training, you are eligible to continue with further study in either of the following:

Sacred Sound Master Facilitator’s Diploma
Nada Yoga Nidra Teachers Diploma.

If you wish to train further as a Sound Therapist for Clinical Practice you are also eligible to enrol in further study with our Master Practitioner’s Diploma of Therapeutic Sound & Vibrational Medicine, commencing at Level 1 where you will receive financial credit for enrolment already paid.

Venue

The venue is our very own Yoga of Sound Studio & Nature Retreat with an abundance of woodland walks at the front door. Located at the foot of the Nagle Mountains in North Co.Cork. approx. 33 minutes north of Cork City.

Parking: There is plenty of parking in our on-site carpark.

From Cork Airport: A good selection of hire cars are available from Cork Airport

Taxi from Fermoy (11 minutes) or Mallow (22 minutes) check with Taxi companies for latest rates.

If you are already a musician you will thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to immerse yourself in a new soundscape of serenity with a variety of popular sound therapy instruments right here in the studio. As you put your own unique resonance into the soundscape those you work with to a state of deep rest and relaxation necessary for self-healing on a subsconscious and cellular level.

Designed for Everyone

This expert training was originally designed for Yoga Teachers who are called to work with sacred sound as an add-on to their already wonderful skills.

This training is open to everyone without any pre-requisites. Complementary Therapists, Musicians, School Teachers and all professionals who are already working with people of all ages will be inspired by this training.

If you are already qualified to work with people you can use your new knowledge and skills right away as this training is recognised as an add-on to your existing skills.

Discover your inner musician as you learn how easy it really is to intuitively play a range of popular sound therapy instruments including sacred gong, Hung & hand gong, Himalayan singing bowls, Crystal singing bowls, Harmonium, Hang drum/Handpan, Metallophone, Shaman drum, Ocean drum, Kalimba/thumb piano, Chimes and more.

Who is this Training For?

This training is for Educators and Mind Body Professionals, who are called to work with the healing power of sound in a therapeutic setting.

This course can also be completed for personal interest, all are welcome.

Professionals who have completed this sound bath training so far include:

Suitable for those who already have, or are working towards, a relevant professional qualification to work with paying clients, or anyone with an interest in the subject who wishes to study for their personal interest for self, family & friends.

If you don’t already have a related qualification, you may wish to continue your studies to complete our Advanced Certificate or Diploma Levels which will provide you with the qualification you need to work with paying clients.
